Frequently asked questions

Short answers about this page.

Where does the data on this page come from?

Charts, technical summaries, the heatmap, and the full calendar come from TradingView widgets. The color-coded release list comes from the Forex Factory schedule. The calculators run on your device and send no data anywhere.

Can I use the technical summary as a signal?

No. It only summarizes automated indicators and can change every minute. Use it as one input, not a decision.

Why is a widget or the calendar not showing?

Widgets load from external sites. Check that your connection is stable, then reload the page. If it is still empty, turn on the free Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 VPN.

Why do the calculator results differ from my platform?

Contract size, pip value, and leverage can differ by broker and account type, for example cent accounts. The numbers here use standard contract sizes.

What time are releases shown in?

All times follow your device time zone.

Position sized? Pick your broker.

Compare leverage, spreads, and rebates across nine partner brokers, then sign up through TradeHub so your rebate is recorded.
