Illustrations, not promises

The figures on this page are illustrations from published per-lot rates, not a promise of results. Rates can change and can differ by account type. A rebate lowers trading costs but does not guarantee profit. Trading Forex and CFDs carries a high level of risk.

How to read the result

This calculator answers one question: how much cost comes back.

What it shows

  • An estimate of the rebate from the lots you actually close.
  • A rate comparison between brokers for the same volume.
  • A picture of how much trading cost comes back to you.

What it does not show

  • Not a profit forecast. The rebate is paid on losing positions too, but trading losses remain yours.
  • Not the exact rate for every account type. Check the broker page for your account.
  • Not a reason to trade more lots. A rebate lowers costs, it does not remove them.
20 forex lots × 7 USD = 140 USD a month at EC Markets, or 1,680 USD a year.An example from the summary rate, not a promise of results.

Trading crypto on Bitget? The rebate comes from fees, not lots. Use the crypto fee simulator.

Frequently asked questions

Short answers about this calculator.

Where do the rates come from?

From the rate summary on the Forex & CFD page, which comes from each broker's page. If a broker changes its rate, the broker page is the reference.

Why is gold higher than forex?

Each broker sets its own rebate rate per instrument. At all eight brokers here, the per-lot gold rate is higher than forex. The rate table above shows the gap.

Why is IC Markets missing?

IC Markets through TradeHub uses a Spread Discount: a spread cut applied on every position, not a per-lot rebate paid later. Details are on the IC Markets page.

Is the rebate paid if I lose?

Yes. The rebate is calculated from the lots you close, not from the result.

When does the rebate land?

It differs by broker, from within minutes to the next business day. See the payout schedule.

Like the numbers? Open the account.

The rebate is only recorded when your account is registered through TradeHub. Already have one? Switch its IB.
