Three things to understand

  1. You can lose part or all of your capital.
  2. Leverage magnifies gains and losses alike.
  3. Past results do not guarantee future results.

Main risks

Applies to every partner broker and every account type.

Loss of capital
Forex and CFDs can cause you to lose part or all of your capital. Do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
Leverage
Leverage magnifies gains and losses alike. A small price move can have a large effect on your capital.
Volatility and slippage
Prices can move very fast, especially around major news releases. Spreads can widen, and orders can fill at a price different from the one you expected.
Margin call and stop out
When margin is insufficient, the broker can close your positions automatically, including at an unfavorable price.
Past performance
Past results do not guarantee future results. This applies to copy trading and master traders' track records too.
Trading robots (EAs)
Automation does not remove risk. Connection, platform, or server problems can still cause losses.
Broker and technology
Your funds sit with the broker. Check the broker's licence directly on the regulator's website, and be aware that internet, power, or platform outages can affect your trades.
Rebates and cashback
Rebates or cashback do not remove the risk of loss and do not guarantee profit. You can still lose money.
Live Trade
Live Trade sessions are run by Circus Capital, a separate trading team that shows real buy or sell decisions using their own capital. That is not personal financial advice for you, and following their calls, including their position size, remains entirely your own risk and choice.

TradeHub's role and limits

What we do and what we do not do.

TradeHub is an Introducing Broker. We introduce you to partner brokers. We do not manage or hold client funds, execute orders, or give financial advice or trading recommendations.

Educational material, analysis, and e-books are general information, not an invitation to buy or sell any instrument, and they do not consider your personal financial situation. Live Trade is different: these sessions are run by Circus Capital, a separate trading team that shows real buy or sell decisions using their own capital. Those decisions are not personal financial advice for you, and following them remains entirely your own risk and choice.

Trading services, account terms, and fund protection are set by the broker where your account is opened. Read that broker's own terms before you trade.

Before you start

Six things to make sure of.

  • Understand the product you trade, including how leverage, margin, and costs work.
  • Start with a demo account and small position sizes.
  • Check the broker's licence on the regulator's website, not only on the broker's page or this one.
  • Decide the loss you can bear before you open a position.
  • Ask an independent financial adviser if you are unsure.
  • Make sure Forex and CFD trading is lawful where you live. Rules differ by country, and you are responsible for checking.
